Salsa, Salsa, Salsa

Peppers, peppers and more peppers

Our pot of Salsa, love it!!

Salsa processing

51 jars in total. This is what I did Friday and Saturday. This is my favorite time of the year. I love canning! Last year I canned, Apricot Jam, Peach Jam, Peaches, Salsa, spaghetti sauce and stewed tomatoes. This year I have only done salsa and plan to do Strawberry Jam and peaches next weekend.

I'm jealous...this is something I have always wanted to do, but never have. I can't seem to commit to the time and money it costs in the beginning. Even though I know it is so worth it. Your lucky family, getting to enjoy all that.

Love all these new posts, they all made me smile. The salsa, oh goodness looks so delecious, share your recipe would you when you get a sec, I would love to make some but don't quite know a good recipe. Lexi does look so cute in purple and pigtails!

Holy cow that looks like so much work! I've always wanted to try it, I may have to have you email me some pointer or directions or something - I think I would really enjoy it. I will have to wait until we get into a house though, there is definitely not enough room where we are now! Thanks for sharing your pictures - I can almost taste the yumminess through the blog. Fresh homemade salsa is the BEST!!!

P.s. The AWANA program is starting up this next week on Wednesday nights at 6:00 at Roy Bible Church, you should drop the kiddos off and check it out, I think they would really like it. I think it usually lasts about 2 hours. Let me know if you are interested or want more info :)
