We went back and forth on having a party. First, we were going to Cowabunga bay, then the date was already booked with people. So then the boys didn't want a party, they just wanted to go to Cowabunga Bay and hang out. Then I thought it would be too crowded, then I decided we could do a small party, then we cancelled, then we decided to just do it. I prefer small parties anyway. No chaos, no stressing and the boys are HAPPY.
So we went to the splash pad in Riverdale, grill hot dogs and brought a cake.
I bought a cake from Costco, cheap and easy, its red velvet with real cream cheese, seriously amazing! I wrote the happy birthday Jax & Ash on it, its a little ghetto, but o'well. It still tastes good.
We kept it short and sweet, we were at the park for an hour and a half and then we left, because we had other plans. THE LAKE!!
Boys got spoiled and I think they are happy.
Jax got rollerblades from us with knee, elbow and wrist pads, he got money, jammies, squirt gun, transformers toy, star wars toy, bubbles, air plane making kit, skateboard and lots of outdoor toys.
Ash got rollerskates from us with knee, elbow and wrist pads, he got money, jammies, squirt gun, transformers toy, star wars toy, bubbles, note pads, crayons, markers, pens, binder case and lots of outdoors toys.
And now all the Birthday parties are over for the summer....woo hoo!!

That sounds like a perfect party no stress, just fun!
I love Costco's red velvet...oh dear it's good. Eric bought one on Valentines for the two of us. Yeah just the two of us, can you imagine how much we threw out. Those things are huge, but I must say we did make a pretty good dent!
Happy Birthday Jax and Ash! Looks like you guys had a fun time!
