A day at the Farm

We went to Carvers Cover today up in Eden, seriously the most fun we have had in a long time. And here are our pics to prove the fun we had. We seen chickens, goats, pigs, ducks, bunnies, horses, cows, bulls, sheep, Llamas, Donkeys, Turkeys and Kitties.

A chicken and her babies, just born.

Jax and our friend that stuck with us the whole time.

Ashton feeding the chickens.

A chicken running around

Little piglets

Biggest big I have ever seen.

My little cowgirl!!

Ashtons favorite of the whole thing, if only he could've brought it home.

Lexi loved the kitties.

Jax feeding Piper the potbelly pig.

Ashton feeding Piper

Bob showing the boys that Piper is nice.

Lexi checking out Piper.

Ashton with our friend.

Cute little bunny

Another cute little bunny

Mommy and baby!

This chicken is blind, but only in one eye and she is also over 20 years old. Crazy!

Lexi chatting with the horses

Biggest Bull, he was huge and the highlight of my trip was watching this little border collie get the bull up from laying down. It was the neatest thing ever. The farm Lady would command the dog to do things and he did.

Our friend was trying to be sneaky, he is on the right and he didn't think we would notice. They are smart animals.

Bob feeding the bull, I was a little scared, I wanted to have all my fingers, even though he was nice.

Ashton feeding the bull, he was the bravest of us all.

Bob feeding the Llama.

Farmer Lady, Jax and Ash petting the sheep that actually lived in her house for a while and then she had to talk him into being outside. I guess he broke a window to get her house the first night and ever since then has lived outside. "Its where all his friends are" She says!!

The coolest colors on this rooster and I foudn out that roosters don't only cocka doodle doo at 3am, but all day.

Jax loving this life.

I love this, the Donkey is eating on top and the baby goat is catching everything on the bottom.

Lexi running around like a farm girl.

My boys, Jax once again not looking at the camera.

Lexi giggling.

All of them, not sure why Jax is so dark though, probably the way the sun was.

Jax had the time of his life riding the horse, he loved every minute.

Ashton wasn't sure when he walked into the gate that he wanted to ride, but she convinced him he was fine. And he fell in love with riding a horse. Coolest thing ever to him.

And Lexi, she didn't let go of Dad, maybe next year.

Farmer Lady went in the pig pen and got the Momma pig and babies to move. This was a blast, watching all the piglets play. The Mom weighs over 450lbs and she actually had a dozen babies, 2 were stillborn and she squooshed one. Sad! I guess she is pretty mean when it comes to her babies though, she allows no one to pick them up. But she is known for throwing her babies across the pen and everything. These pigs will go to market in a couple of weeks. Sad, but part of life I guess. They sure are cute!

These two little fellas were fighting over a leaf, of all the things. Love it!

Jaxon feeding the goats and Chickens.

My Ash, he would make a good farm boy.

We will definately be going back, it was so much fun, the people were amazing, the take such good care of their animals. My favorite was the pigs and the potbelly pig Piper. Piper had a fun personality and he was mad because he was woke up from a nap. The kids all had fun including Lex. Amazing and a neat experience.
