Blessings

Everyday I try to remember what I have and a lot of people don't have half of what we do. I have a roof over my head, a job, a loving Husband, wonderful children that make me smile and food on the table along with many other things. I realized I need to be more thankful for what I have. A lot happened last year and everything is now headed in the right direction. I truly believe things happen for a reason and here is a story on why.

Today we were driving home, I was complaining to Bob about my bad day at work. Nothing too big, just stupidity of others. When all of a sudden this big huge Ford F-250 pulls out in front of us, like right out in front of us. Bob had no choice but to either A: Slam on his breaks and chance us not getting hurt or B: Move over because no one was in the other lane and go around them. He opted for B and went around them peacefully. Next thing I know they are honking at us, trying to go around us and being plain crazy. We head down Church St in Layton and they continue to act like immature idiots. They then follow us into my parents neighorhood, almost hit two cars head on trying to go around us and they continue following us. I tell Bob to keep driving and not to stop, I am scared to death at this point. I dial my Moms number, tell her to send Dad out because to crazy guys are trying to run us over and that I am calling 911. I then call 911, talk with the dispatcher, notice that this guy is out of his truck and coming after my Husband and I scream. Bob throws our tiny car into reverse and is trying to get away from him. The guy is stumbling everywhere and my Dad comes running down the road to save the day. The whole thing about this is that my parents were NOT suppose to be home from Bear Lake until Friday. I swear everything happens for a reason, had my Dad not shown up, I don't know what would've happen, but I don't want to think about it. So thanks to the Man above for answering my prayers in mysterious ways and to my Dad for saving the day. I truly am blessed and so thankful that things didn't turn out worse. We spoke to two wonderful police officers who were on their way to look for the crazy 50 year old idiots and I hope they are booked into jail soon.

Ohmygosh, I would have been scared to death too - that is so crazy? Why were they upset with you - you didn't do anything wrong! I'm glad you are all ok!

Uh, that is CRAZY...seriously what is wrong with people. I am so glad you guys were watched out for and that all ended up okay. Hopefully those two losers will someday catch up to their actions, they deserve some type of reprimand...sorry that happened to you!!

Ummm...that is so weird. That is one of those things that seems to only happen to someone else, you must have been in complete shock. I am so glad everything turned out okay and that Bob was with you at the time, can you imagine having been alone in a situation like that.
