Pond, Ashton's Hair and "MO" (Elmo)

Today I took the boys to the pond out in Syracuse to feed the ducks. I loved it until Jaxon fell in the water, it was great, but I thought I was going to have to go in after him. We had fun still and I got some cute pics of the boys. I love my boys so much, I am sure I say this often, but they mean the absolute world to me and I love taking pics of them.

Bob has been telling me for about 2 months now that Ashton needs his hair cut...his exact words were "If I can't have my hair long, then he can't either". Whatever! I am having the hardest time with this, because Ash has the cutest curls and blonde hair, he is a toe head and so cute! I just remember cutting Jaxon's hair and its never been the same. So I am doing a vote (on the side) or you can tell me what you think.

Ashton is obsessed with this little red creature, don't get me wrong, I think "Mo" as Ashton calls him is the most adorable thing ever. But he has to go everywhere with us, we go to Grandma's and Mo has to come, we go to the store and Mo has to come, Ashton goes to bed and you better hope that Mo didn't get left anywhere, because Ash will let you know. Its so cute! But I can't believe how attached he has got. Poor Mo had to go shopping with us today, it was hilarious, Ashton would tell everyone is the store. Then yesterday Mo fell out of my Grandma's car and Ash walked around for an hour saying that Mo got hurt. HILARIOUS!!!!

The worst thing about being a parent...

My good friend from work called me this morning to tell me that her son's Best Friend passed away last night. He has been fighting an auto immune disease called vasculitis and took a turn for the worst on Tuesday. She said "Sierra, how do I tell my son?" I don't know, this is the most horrible thing and crappy and worst thing about being a parent is having to tell your kids something like this or be in that kids parents situation of losing their son. I don't know how people handle it but they do, it happens everyday and it just plain sucks. I hope I NEVER experience this, because I don't know what I would do or say. Please say an extra prayer for Cameron's family and my friend Cara and her family, this is so hard. Life is so short, please hug your loved ones and don't go to bed mad at each other or upset, its not worth it.

Riverdale Park

We have been going to the Riverdale Park for the last two months, the kids love it. There is so much room for them to run free and not have to worry!!! I am sad that we won't be able to do this in a couple months, but always look forward to another season.

P.S. I am having my open house for my candles this Friday from 5pm-7pm, if you are interested in coming, please please let me know and I would be happy to give further information.

5 years

Wow, it is so hard to believe that Bob and I have been married for 5 years. We have been through so much and learned so much from each other. This post by be long, so I apologize ahead of time.

Bob and I were set up by a good friend at work in January of 2003, I had just gotten out of a long relationship and wasn't looking to find someone right away. Bob took me on a date on January 24th, 2003 to Park City, we ate pizza at this very nice restaurant. During that time, the Sundance Film Festival was going on. We walked up and down main street and saw some stars, but no one too big. After Park City, Bob took me to the Car Show at the South Towne Expo Center, I had never been and it was fun. Bob and I really got to know each other on our first date. We went to his house that night and watched a movie and from then on, we were unseperable. I don't know how many people know, but Bob and I are 10 years and 9 months apart, he has two kids from a previous marriage that we see every other weekend. I don't mind our age difference except when it comes to a few things like music and movies. We are completely different in these two areas, its all good though! Bob asked me to marry him in March of 2003, I of course said yes! He didn't have any formal way of asking, he just took me ring shopping and said "Hey, I think its time we get married!" I knew Bob was the right guy for me on the first date, he was a gentlemen, had a strong heart and had already been through HELL and back. We set our wedding date for September 6th, 2003, the most beautiful day of my life. Two weeks before my wedding I had to have emergency surgery to have my gallbladder removed, I don't remember much of that week because I was really sick. But Bob stood by my side and took really good care of me. Our wedding day came and it was the most beautiful day of my life besides having my two adorable boys (nothing will ever take over those two days). Bob and I headed to Vegas after our wedding, we had a blast. In October 2003, we found out that we were pregnant with our first baby together, I was so happy, but sick for 9 LONG months, I actually didn't gain very much weight until the last two weeks. Jaxon was born on May 30th, 2004 and has been a blessing even though he keeps me on my toes. Bob and I have had so much fun with Jaxon, he has taught us both a lot. In November 2005 we found that we were pregnant with baby #2, I was really excited because after being told I couldn't have any more kids, I thought for sure it would never happen and it did. This pregnancy went by so fast, I was already 2 and half months a long when I found out. On June 12th, 2006 Ashton was born and has been the light of my life ever since then. Bob and I have learned a lot from each other and our kids, we have our ups and downs, but somehow and somewhere, we always find a way to make it. Last December, on Christmas Eve, Bob and I bought our first house together, this has made our relationship so much stronger and we love it.

Bob does so much for me and I can't imagine life without him, even though sometimes he drives me crazy, I love him more than he will ever know. He always takes care of me when I am sick, he helps with the kids, he loves to do yard work, he has had his job for 17 long years and he loves his family and they always come first. HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSAY BOB!!!

First day of school

Jaxon started his first day of his 2nd year of preschool. He was pretty excited and so was I, I hoping that he can stay out of less troube. BOY has it been a rough summer with this boy, still love him to death though...

Crazy Weather...

I love thunderstorms, rain and everything that goes with it when I am sitting at home doing NOTHING and I mean absolutely nothing. Well last night was that except out lights went out about 7pm and we waited and waited and waited for them to come back on. Bob went an got the lantern so we could see and we lit every candle in the house. Kind of creepy! I went outside twice to check out the weather and couldn't see a thing because it was so dark. Luckily the boys were gone enjoying another camping trip with my parents, so it was just Bob and I. We played Monopoly for 2 hours and I kicked Bob's butt. Then went to bed and it was so dark I couldn't see anything. Crazy weather all night long, but I love it. I love fall time and its getting close, I love the leaves changing colors and everything. I am happy for Summer to be over, but kind of sad at the same time. I like my kids to be able to run outside like crazy kids do and not be locked up in a house all day. Jaxon is having a hard time today because he can't run outside because it wet out there, I guess I could let him out, but then he would come in like a wet dog with mud on him.
Here are some pictures from 3 years ago up at Snow Basin, I want to go up there and take pictures again.
