Jaxon through the YEARS...

Jaxon now almost 4 years old

Jaxon Bailee Clemments

Jaxon is turning 4 tomorrow so I thought it would be fun to blog about how he came into this world and a little more. This is more for me to look back on, but I hope you enjoy it.

Me the day before Jax was born

Jaxon was born on May 30th, 2004, I was scared to death of the whole labor thing, so this is how the whole thing went down.
I was two weeks over due and so they scheduled me to be induced on May 29th, 2004 at 9pm, so you might be asking why so late (I wondered the same thing and still do to this day). So everything was going good at first except for the fact that I was so nervous and anxious for it all to be over so I didn't sleep at all. At Midnight my contractions started getting pretty bad, I was very uncomfortable, the nurses kept getting mad because I couldn't sit still, OOPS!!! So finally at 2am I decided I needed the epideral so atleast I could get some sleep, so they check me and I was still only dialated to a three, OKAY!!! So I went in at a three, not much progress. After I got my epidural I finally started to get comfortable and I they gave me some medicine to relax me, well when they gave me this medicine it not only relaxed me, but made Jaxon's heart rate drop to the 60's, which is VERY LOW!!! I was immediately freaked, because I had all these buttons going off, I had twenty nurses around me and I was talking to my doctor on the phone who was telling me that they were taking Jaxon C-Section. I can't even describe the feeling that I got, but it was so crazy, I was shaking and crying and my Mom was upset and I just wanted someone to tell me everything was going to be alright.

Jax a couple of days old

So they take me to this very very very very cold Operating Room and there are all these tools and nurses and its just creepy. I was so nervous I remember telling my doctor that I had carried him for nine months and he was coming out alive, he reassured me that everything was going to be fine and that I would have my baby in no time. The longest part of the whole c-section was waiting to see Jaxon after he had already been out, I swear it took them like 5 hours to staple me up and really it took like 10 minutes. Jaxon was a huge baby, I knew the moment I seen him that he weighed a lot, he weighed 9lbs 9oz and was 21 1/2 inches long, he had dark thick hair and I fell in love with him the very moment I saw him. Jaxon was the best baby anyone could ask for, he slept through the night at 2 weeks, he really only cried if he was wet or hungary. Jaxon caught on to things very quickly, I knew he was going to be very independent as he grew up. He started eating cereal at 2 months, because a bottle just wasn't enough. The doctors say by the way he is growing he will be over 6' 3", I totally see more and more as he grows up. He amazes me everyday, he talks so good, he says things that I would never imagine a three year old to say, he sometimes is too smart for his own pants though. When Jaxon was a baby I thought I was going to have to buy him dentures, because he didn't get his first tooth until he was 10 months old. Jaxon started crawling at exactly 6 months, he walked before he turned one and loved to dance to any kind of music. I believe Jaxon is a Grandma's boy, he loves his Grandma soooooooooooo much and I am fine with that, because I wish I would've been closer to my Grandma growing up, we are pretty close now, but when I was younger I never really knew her.

Some of Jax's favorite things to do:

Play with trucks/boats/cars

Go camping with Grandma and Grandpa Peavy

Watch movies (Little Einsteins, Cars, Land Before Time, Monsters, etc.)

Eat apples and mostly any kind of fruit (He prefers fruit over candy anyday)

Go shopping with Mommy

Go to lowes to see the tractors

Play in the dirt

Go swimming (but not take a bath)

Go to the park

The color green, he loves green, if you ever ask him what color he wants of something 9 times out of 10 he will say GREEN.

I believe Jaxon has filled a place in my heart and life that needed to be filled, its so great to love some one as much I love my boys.

Cutie family. I think that I would be freaked out if 20 nurses were all around me...I hate hospitals. So, I see the pic of you and Misty, very cute. Do you talk to her often (I really miss her too!) You guys were so much fun to be around and I wish I could still hang out, with you are all your family. How is your family doing?
