For the last year our lives have been full of changes. The biggest being that we moved, only that a year ago we NEVER would've guessed this is where we'd be. Crazy...
When we first moved, Bob didn't have a job in Texas. But through the grace of God, he was able to move with us and work remote for awhile. Then shortly after moving we got the news that they were just going to transfer him here. God was watching out for us. Another reason we knew this was all meant to be.
Bob and I have learned to have patience through this all. We went from having a house of our own to renting, paying $300.00 more than our mortgage. You use your air conditioner more here, so the power bill has been high, we commute where before we were 5 mins away from work, we pay daycare where my kids have never had to be in daycare before. So our budget has been crazy. We are living pay check to pay check, but we are making it.
A couple of months ago, Bob was told some changes were happening in his department. I didn't think much of it until I seen and heard about all the lay-offs happening. Once again, God was there for us, Bob was offered a spot on a pilot team which we are hoping and praying becomes permanent.
So far everything has worked out how its meant to work out. We've had a couple of rough patches, daycare closing, inviting someone to live with us to watch Lex that we thought we knew, but didn't and that ended up being a complete NIGHTMARE.
I have faith though that things are working out exactly how they're suppose to and one day we'll look back and say "we made it!"
