Family pictures

I've never paid for family pictures, so this was EXTRA special to me.  I told Bob at the start of the year that the only thing I wanted the entire year was to pay for family pictures so that I could blow them and not worry about the stress of editing and making sure my kids looked at my good friend Sunset, who I always have take them.  Don't worry Sunset, you are still my go to girl, that will never change...LOL

So I was referred to this awesome girl by a friend at work and AWESOME she was.  She had a lovely personality, she was great with my kids and my kids immediately loved her.

She was fun to work with also.  She had the perfect spots and I totally trusted her.

Funny Story:  While taking a picture of me and the kids, they jumped on me and I fell over, it was the funniest thing ever.  Ashton said "Don't worry Mom, you still look beautiful!!"  I love that kid and I am still laughing about falling.  We were on rocks and I was squatting, thats my excuse.

I am in love with my pictures, I can't wait to print some and play around with them.

Summer catch up

We've been busy, I think things are finally calming down a little.  Bob and I have some time off this coming week and we are both excited.

Jaxon has now been gone for 5 days and I miss him like CRAZY.  He is having a blast though and doesn't want to come home anytime soon.

Ashton went to Idaho with my Sister Miranda for the weekend, her Husband is working up there full time in Pocatello, so Ash went to keep her company while he worked and he definately kept her BUSY.

We've been doing a whole lot of this, we've only missed one day of swimming in this pool.  We love it.

A couple of things:

*Ash, Lex and I went to the Stratfords to go swimming on Friday, we met Misty and picked up Cafe Rio.  I love my best friend Misty, she is always there for me no matter what, I can talk to her about ANYTHING, I love our friendship, we can text any time of the day and be there for each other.  Her Daughter means the world to me and my Family.  My Mom currently watches her while Misty is at work.

*Ashton conquered a huge fear and went off the diving board all by himself.  He took about an hour to finally do it, but I am so proud of him.  He also learned from Misty how to swim better and is doing GREAT.

*Bob, Ash, Lex and I had a picnic out back last Thursday, Bob picked up a pizza from Papa Murphy's and we ate it in between the pool fun we were having.

*Bob and I both got new iPads, we've been wanting one forever, but couldn't justify the money.  He bought me one last Thursday and went back and got him one on Saturday.  We love love love them.

*Bob, Lex and I went to Ruby River for dinner on Friday, we told Lex we were taking her on a date since her brothers are gone.  We had fun and she ate the most she has eaten in a long time.

*A Funny thing Lex said while giving her a bath, She said "Mom, I need to wash my pit, pits!"

*We got family pictures this past Monday, I can't wait to show them all off, I should be picking up the CD this week and then I get to decide which picture to put on my canvas I prepaid for and which other ones are going in other places, I really cannot wait.

We are loving summer and don't have any big plans, but I love it this way.  We are planning a trip for Disney Land, so we are going to be saving lots of money.

Happy 1st day of July, one of my favorite months!

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Wow, now that I've gotten today partially over with, I can breathe a little better.

I've been stressing about Jax leaving for the last two weeks and everything went smooth minus the losing my Airport Parking Ticket and being charged 28.00 for being there for 3hrs.  Yeah, I feel ripped off, no worries!!

Jaxon has been counting down the days since he found out he was going.  I wasn't sure how it was going to go for me, I was worried, excited for him and wasn't sure about the whole flying alone thing.  I cried like a baby when he ran up that ramp to board his plane and I cried until I finally got to my car where I said a prayer for my baby and felt a sense of relief.  I know, I should've done it sooner.

I know, I look horrible, but I didn't sleep but two hours last night.  A Mom's job is to worry about her kids right, well I did that....ALL NIGHT!!!  At the same time, I was so excited for Jaxon to experience this, I can't wait to talk about the memories.

This is what I have embedded in my head, my cute grown up boy who once needed me for EVERYTHING and now he is so independent that it scares me.

His plane backing out.  Flight 1506, first stop (but no plane switch) Denver, then to Amarillo (No plane switch) and then onto Dallas Texas where he will be for the next 34 days.

A couple of things to remember from this day.

*Ash saying goodbye to his brother this morning and all of sudden he bursts into tears so bad that I get teary eyed.  I said "Whats wrong Ash?"  He said "I'm going to miss my brother so much, who is going to play cars with me?"  I love that he is going to miss his brother, it means that their relationship is closer than what they think.

*Jax gave me a huge hug at the terminal and said "Tell Ash I love him and that I'll be back!"  Seriously, melt my heart again.  What eight year old boarding a plane for FUN remembers that?  MY BOY and I am so proud of him.

*My Grandma called me as soon as she had him.  She said that a lady came up to her and my Grandpa and asked them if they were waiting for Jaxon, they said Yes and she said that Jaxon was a perfect example of a unaccompanied minor and that she sat next to him the whole 4 hrs and 45 mins and he was amazing.  Made me feel 20 times better.

I want the next 34 days to fly by, but then I don't, if that makes sense.  I want him to remember this always.

Love my BOY!!
