Christmas Eve

Let me start out by telling everyone why we open presents on Christmas Eve. Bob and I have done this since we got married 7 years ago. We found it overwhelming to enjoy our presents at home and go to all the houses we have too and enjoy it all! So we split it up, Christmas Eve we open gifts at our house and Christmas day is spent at my parents, there is no rush with anything and it works perfect.

Our Tree, I am still really proud of this tree.

I have decided I hate legos, I get the pleasure of spending 2 hours putting them together.

This is actually Jaxon's shirt, but Ash opened it and was excited, makes me laugh!

She had no clue what to do. She didn't even want to try and figure it out. But she loved the toys.

He is a pro!!

A tea set by Daddys request he had to have one.

He loves this part of opening them all.

A new shirt!!

Just open it Mommy!!!

Just what she wanted, I swear she asked for them....LOL!!! She is obsessed with shoes big time.

Lexi's collection...she got, dress up shoes, Pajamas, a mat (for her kitchen that Santa is brining), a new dress, a shirt, a tea set and a collection of bowls, pots and plates for the Santa gift also.

Jaxon's collection....he got a lego set, Pajamas, a construction building set, Bankogun's, 3 new shirts and a learning book. Oh and Super Mario Brothers DS. Funny story..He has been begging and pleading for this and well I wasn't sure I wanted to get it for him because he gets so frustrated with the wii one. But I got it for him and hid it on his dresser and he was shocked.

Ashton's collection...he got walkie talkies, 3 new shirts, Pajamas, a Lego set, a football and Bankogun's also. The Walkie Talkies have been the best hit, he loves them.

The boys went to a farm today (I will post on that later) and Ash wanted a pic before he left in front the tree.

She is a diva, she is a total girl!!!

Ash and Lex being funny!

And our Santa cookies...baking away and oh so YUMMY!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Start of Christmas week

WE ARE READY!!! Presents are wrapped, house is almost cleaned, laundry is pretty much done and 3 kids are super excited for Santa to come see them.

I am feeling really blessed this year, I was able to get my kids everything they asked for minus the cell phone that Jaxon keeps thinking he is going to get, but my rule is he has to be 12. I am ready for Christmas, I feel like as a Mom I get the best gift...watching my kids open theirs with the biggest smiles.

So on Monday we received a package from my Grandpa and Grandma (Bonnie). It was filled with stuff for the kids. Lex got a Pink Cowboys jersey, a baby and a sing-a-long DVD. Ash got a Dallas Cowboys shirt, a car, a childrens Bible, a learning book, a sticker book and a t-shirt. Jax got a Dallas Cowboys shirt, a car, a childrens Bible and a learning book. They also got two new dvd's, I know one is the Little Rascals and the other is some dog movie.

They loved every single minute of it. And it was fun watching them smile and giggle over everything.

2 MORE DAYS and its killing me more than them....

Our attempt at Family pictures with EVERYONE...

I wanted to get everyone together for pics today, well that didn't work out. My son had a huge and I mean MAJOR fit. So our attempt at a big huge family pic went south. We will try again soon. But here are some of my favorites that I took of my family!

Jaxon's first tooth gone

Sorry I was trying to catch up on blogging yesterday. Well I did...LOL!!!

Jenny, yes, I put all my Christmas cards on my tree, I love it. I haven't ever found any other way that I like.

So yesterday Jax lot his first tooth, crazy huh! It was kind of weird. He came to me and said "Mom, my toothe is loose even more." I felt it and knew if we didn't get it out he would swallow it. So I told him to think about and let me know when he is ready. So he thought about it and then he came back 5 minutes later and said he was ready! I tried and tried and tried to tie a string around it and it didn't work. So he just pulled it out and was just done.

Giving

I love giving, I love it way more than receiving. The look on my kids face is priceless when I seen them happy about something.

So I decided to make a treat for my co-workers and I seen this on Teri's blog and then a friend at work brought something different, so I mixed things up a little and TA DA!!! It turned out great and its super easy!!

I made the above, it looks yummy and I didn't have the chance to burn anything!

And the above is just a couple things we have received from neighbors. How is it possible to lose any weight this time of year?

Christmas Ornaments

This is last years Christmas Ornament

And this is this years, I love them.

One of the best things about my kids being in school is the fun stuff they bring home for parents around this time of year.

My Favorite thing this time of year....
