Things I learned at the FAIR....

Why on earth would you display a expensive car and put a sign up telling people not to touch it?  There are numerous people going to this fair, I suggest putting it in a glass box.

In my next life I DO NOT want to be a dairy cow, those poor things....

Or a Beef Cow, not sure which is worse, but I was feeling bad for them both.

Baby piglets are the cutest little things, but they grow up to be.....

BIG UGLY things, that are so UGLY they're cute.

Taking a 3 year old on the BIG YELLOW SLIDE is quite comical when they scream bloody murder the whole way UP and the whole way DOWN.  POOR BOB, he was such a good sport.

And there is proof of the screaming three year old, she even cried while her brothers went again.

Jaxon thinks anything that has little in it, shouldn't involve him, because apparently he is NOT little.

And these two are good with anything that involves a prize or FOOD at the end of doing something simple.

I never read any signs that said you could be a DIVA and work on a farm, but they still let her through.

Riding a trike at the age of 6 is still a blast, hey live it up kiddo, because being a grown up is not all fun and games.

But if you're going to ride a tractor, it has to be PINK and you DON'T sit on the seat, so Lex thinks.

Just kidding, we found the seat...

And that is how you become a member of the FFA....who knew it was that easy...LOL

Little Brother talked BIG brother into the dragon roller coaster....

He went, but I thought he'd have wet pants when he got off.

Little brother giggled the entire time.

And Jax got off and said "That wasn't that bad!!"

So Ashton couldn't talk his Brother into the SUPER SHOT, so who went in Jax place...YES, thats me you see up there.  I couldn't tell my boy that I was more afraid then he was...

And then we got to the top and Ash said "Mom, this is REALLY high!!"

And this picture did it for me, I couldn't and still can't stop laughing hysterically.

Oh my poor boy, if his lip poked out any further, we'd be in trouble.

Ashton was able to talk Jax into the ferris wheel, how I don't know, because I have a fond memory of Jax riding the one at Lagoon and peeing on his Dad when he was 3.  Oh the MEMORIES!!

Thunder Bolt made Ashton sick to his TUMMY!

Jax thought it was a pretty cool ride.

Ash slept the whole time, poor boy can't handle the spinning rides, they make his tummy hurt.

Corndogs

French Fries

And watching the starship spin around and around and around are apparently the best things at the FAIR.

And GREEN muscle cars, oh the days of being a kid and thinking the smallest things were the coolest ever.

These memories will last a lifetime and I love that I share them with 4 of the most important people in my life.  Until next year...

Nine years

NINE YEARS.....

Nine years that I have been with a guy who treats me like a Princess, loves me for who I am, doesn't ask for anything, would do anything in the world for me, loves his kids unconditionally, loves ME unconditionally, would fight for our family and has been beside me from DAY ONE.

Being Bob's third marriage hasn't always been easy, but I have never doubted that Bob didn't love me.  We have grown so much together, sacrificed so much, come a long ways and at times when we could've give up, we DIDN'T.

I can't wait to see what the next HOWEVER many years go for us, I can't wait to grow old together, I can't wait to travel together, watch our kids learn and explore together.  There isn't anyone else in this world that I'd rather do it with than Bob.

I swore I would never post this picture.  This was us married for almost a year.  Jax was just a couple months old.  Crazy how times change.

Our First Christmas together, crazy to think that I was pregnant with Jax there, we were just starting out on our adventure.

Bob and I in July 2009 right after he was diagnosed with his heart problem.  He looks so sick there,
amazing how sick he was and we didn't even know.

Our cute family in 2007, no Lex, crazy, I can't even remember that time.  And my nice bright red hair....YUCK!!!  LOL

I love the man beside me, I wouldn't change a thing and there is no one else I want by my side.

Nine years and many more to go....

First day of school 2012-2013

Summer just flew by, thats for sure.  I swear the boys just got out of school and now they are another year older and another grade higher.

I have mixed emotions about them going back.  I'm happy because they get a normal everyday routine and they aren't bored all day at Grandma's.  Sad, because its another year older and can't believe it goes so quickly.  Also because this world is scary and crazy and I get a little choked up when I look at them standing with all those kids.  I want my kids to know they are my world.  I will fight everyday for them and leaving them at the school today was hard, harder than I thought.

Jaxon is officially in third grade, why does that seem so old, yet its really not.  I have no clue about his teacher, but first impressions seemed great.  She sounds like she is there for the kids and that make me happy.

He is the tallest in his class and has a pretty big class this year.  I'm trying not to worry over that.  Jaxon has come a LONG ways.

Ashton is officially in first grade and yet I'm still shocked that he is even in school.  Ashton has always been a Mama's Boy and sending him into the real world really scares me.  He likes to make friends with EVERYONE, he has no FILTER and he is STUBBORN.  But yet, he loves school, every single thing about it.  Lately he has been upset because he is struggling a bit with reading.  I have also been a little upset, because as a Mother it makes you feel horrible.  So we are working on reading BIG TIME and I have no doubt that my Ashton will 100% succeed.

Ashton isn't the tallest in his class, but he is pretty close.  Ashton has a pretty small class and that makes me happy!!

Jaxon the last 4 years:

Kindergarten 09 - Mrs. Rigby

1st Grade 10 - Mrs. Wellard

2nd Grade 11 - Mrs Williams

3rd Grade 12 - Mrs. Baetge

Rock it Jaxon as I know you will!!

Ashton the last two years:

Kindergarten 11 - Mrs. Porter

1st Grade 12 - Mrs. Logan

Rock is Ashton as I know you will!

The boys both had a wonderful first day and both came home happy with their teachers, which makes a Mom happy.

Happy First day of school my boys!

Last lake trip of 2012

We didn't make it to the lake very much this year, things got crazy and with Jax being gone all of July, us having a pool, camping trips and other things, we just never made it.  I'm regretting it now.  I love Pineview, I love making memories with my kids there.  I love the sand between my toes, I love the snacking on snacks, I love watching my kids build stuff out of sand and water, I love the water fights, the lounging in tubes, the sitting and watching the beautiful scenery around us.  I just love it and I am so sad we only made it a total of 3 times this summer.

It was a perfect day before the big storm hit, we got there just before 11 and left around 3, we had so much fun and even managed to get a sunburn.

I'm going to miss Summer, but I am truly ready for fall, just not freezing cold tempatures.  I'm ready for the leaves to change colors, I'm ready for the holidays and all the FAMILY FUN.

And I guess I'm ready for school to start....SIGH!!!

End of Summer

This summer has flown by, actually, this year has FLOWN by, I can't believe that another school year is starting.  I'm happy and sad.  Happy because my kids get to meet new people and learn.  Sad, because it seems like life flies by and before you know it your kids are graduated.  I want my babies to stay babies and so lately I've been thinking about the last 8, 6 and 3 years of each of theirs lives, how I felt when they were born, what they did growing up until now, how they each are different in their own ways and how my heart grows bigger and bigger every single.

Jaxon is starting third grade, I remember third grade myself, it was my last year at Hill Field Elementary at Hill Air Force Base before I moved to EG King in Layton.  It was the last year we lived on base before my parents built their house.  I can't believe my first born is old enough for this, I can't believe that he is almost half way through Elementary.

Jaxon has grown a ton over the last year or so.  He loves reading and spelling, he loves airplanes, listening to music (we are already fighting about this) and watching Discovery Channel.

Ashton is starting first grade, my first grade teacher will forever hold a special place in my heart, I truly believe she changed my life, she was the most loving caring person ever and I hope she is doing wonderful.

Ashton, I have no doubt will excell in first grade, I think he is a little behind in some areas and sometimes I wish I would've started him a little later, but he is so big that I didn't want him questioning it.  We'll see how he does this year and he may need to attend a reading program next summer.  Ashton is by far my most stubborn, but I believe his stubborness is what keeps him going.  Ashton loves playing outside with NO SHOES, making a mess, coloring and watching Cartoon Network.

And this little girl, oh boy is she super intelligent, we are trying to get her into a immersion program to start next year.  I want her to learn another language and Bob agrees.  This little girl talks so well that Bob and I would be wrong if we didn't get her into some kind of program.  If we can't get her in next year, we'll put her in a preschool and try for Kindergarten.  We'll see what happens.

Lexi loves having a SASSY attitude, I guess that comes with being a girl.  She STILL loves Dora, singing songs, riding her bikes, playing outside and trying to stay out of trouble....LOL

So another year, come and gone, I can't believe it.  Back to school and our lives will change again.

Oh my babies, how you have grown, I know you'll all do wonderful things in life, I hope you know that I am always here for you, your #1 cheerleader, I want nothing but the best and I will fight for YOU.

Loved this, found it on Pinterest, I think we all learn by making mistakes, I know I have and continue to do.  I am not the perfect Mom, but I try and I learn everyday.

New Lens

Bob bought me the new 50MM lens for our anniversary and since I've done so much photography lately, it will definately be put to great use.

Lexi loves to model for her Mommy, she sometimes looks at the camera.

My cute baby puppy Nova, he loves his Mommy and was being squeezed to death by his big sister.

My dinner, its pretty entertaining these days...NOT  But this picture is cool to me.

My crafts I've done, my fall wreath and my candy jars, I'm in love with both of them.

Don't worry, lots more pictures to come, I'm about to have some fun taking pictures for the start of 3rd grade and 1st grade.
