Sad summer is ending!

I am sad, Summer is quickly coming to an end. which means no playing outside without a shirt, no going outside with no shoes and no laying on a blanket in the shade just thinking or watching your kids be crazy! This summer has flown by, but will definately be a Summer I won't forget. I have learned things and been blessed with my beautiful little girl! She has brought so much light into our lives. My boys have learned alot this summer too. Jax has grown up before my eyes, he started school and I still cannot believe it. Ashton is talking, actually he doesn't shut up! He is on the go and doesn't stop. I have to remind myself that he is only 3, because he acts and talks like he is a lot older. The pictures above are from yesterday, my kids love being outside. LOVE IT!!

Lexi has been doing alot of this. Drooling, puking and loving her Daddy! I think she is turning to a Daddy's Girl! They have a bond like I have never seen, Bob is SOOOOO protective over his little girl like I am REALLY protective over my boys and little girl!! Love these pictures they need no words.

One of those days!!

Has anyone else ever had one of those days? One where you feel like nothing goes right, your hair didn't do what you wanted. Everywhere you go there is negative things, the comments people make seem rude, you feel down and just want to cry. Well thats me today! I am not sure why, I didn't think I was having a bad hair day this morning. But who knows! It was one comment that someone made about something that has totally set me off. Its frustrating, because I know I am guilty of saying things and not realizing it may hurt another person. But I know this person knows what I have been through or going through and it hurts. I would never say anything intentionally to hurt someone why would someone else do it and knowingly do it?

On a brighter note, I am finally getting my Husband back, its been a LONG hard 3 months, but I am proud to say, I MADE IT!!! I cannot truly put into words how overwhelming this has been, I still look back and wonder how I did it. I am not sure how I made it, I can't figure it out, other than someone was definately watching over me and carrying me through those bad times. I remember the long drive home from the hospital crying my eyes out until I couldn't cry anymore wondering what was going to happen tomorrow, I wonder how I made it through those moments or hours. A girl at work today was thalking about how it will be the one year anniversary for her friends Son's deat, I don't know how people do it. I almost lost my Husband and don't know how I would've made it, but losing a child, I mean not that I think its more than losing my Husband, but losing any part of your family. Its my biggest fear, something I worry about every hour of every day! I wonder when I will stop worrying if ever or if I will ever be a NORMAL person again. I live in fear everyday that something is going to happen. The littlest things get me and I can't figure out why. Okay, I am rambling, sorry! Needed somethings off my chest and sometimes it feels good to get it out somewhere.

A little getaway!

Bob and I had the best weekend in a VERY LONG TIME! We left at 11am on Saturday and drove up to Park City. We first went to the hotel to see when check-in was and it wasn't until 4pm, so we left and went to the Park City resort to check out the fun stuff. We stood in line for about 45 minutes to buy tickets to ride the rides. Then we rode the ski lift up to ride the The Ziprider down, we waited an hour to ride this and we barely made it, because when it rains they shut it down. It was fun! Then after that we left to go check-in to our hotel and get our stuff out of the car. We stay at the WESTGATE Resort & Spa. It was a really nice place, but there were a few things I disliked about it. NOTHING was free, not even a drink. They didn't have ice machines, they made you pay for internet, even if you just want to check your bank balance. They make you take all the stuff off your bed before you check out. Other than those few minor things, I loved it! After checking in, we made our way back to the Park City Ski resort to ride the Alpine Coaster, my all time favorite ever...TOTALLY WORTH EVERY DIME!! After that we rode the Alpine slide, I like the Alpine Slide, but its not my favorite. Then we went to dinner at the Red Bandit Bar & Grill, it was yummy! After all that we went back to the hotel and went to the "relaxation pool". Its a hot tub pretty much! We had the best time ever and I am so glad that we were able to do it. Thanks to my family for keeping the monkeys!

6 Years and going....

Its crazy to believe that we have been married 6 years on the 6th. I am posting early because Bob and I are going out of town and up to Park City to enjoy some US time.
I have learned so much in the last 6 years, but I believe I have learned the most in the last year. There is no one else that I would want standing my side other than Bob, he is my strength and rock. We have been through so much and we held each other together. We have cried together, smiled together, laughed together and loved together. We have become so much closer than ever in the last 3 months. Its sad to say that it took something like this to bring us close, but I truly believe that this happened for a reason. God knew what he was doing when he gave us these trials. He tested us and I think we did great, it was hard, I won't lie, but we did and we did it together. I have an amazing Husband, I was just thinking that I need to be more thankful. He takes good care of me and the kids. He cares about us and our safety and he works his butt off to provide for us.

I love you Bob. Happy 6 years to us!!

Mircales do happen!!

***I love this picture, her chunky cheeks!!!***

Well I am a firm believer in miracles, now for more reasons than one. Today was Lexi's appoitment and I have to say this has been the longest week of my life. I have cried, been sick to my stomach and worried as all heck. When we went in to the room, I got this weird feeling, it was different, it wasn't what I have been feeling all week. So I wasn't sure if we were going to get the worse news ever or the best news ever. Well we got the best news ever and I am so excited and happy that I seriously could scream and cheer. Lexi does have a PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosis), basically a heart murmur. She also has a Pulmonary stenosis, but both are so mild that they really aren't too worried at all. The good news though is that he believes that it will go away on its own and NO surgery is needed. The plan is to watch it for now at her normal pediactric appointments, and then she will be seen every 6 months at Primarys to watch it. I couldn't be happier with this outcome. I was so scared that I would have to hand my sweet little girl over for a long and hard surgery, I was scared to death. So now I can sleep a little better and breathe a little better. I can't say how much weight is lifted off my shoulders right now. God truly does not give us more than we can handle and I think he knew I couldn't handle this right now. I have prayed and prayed and prayed for this outcome...WOO HOO!! Celebration!! Thanks to everyone for all the prayers, I truly know they work and I have the best family and friends ever, even if I only talk to yoou on here, I truly call you friends. Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart!!

Some things I forgot....

Two days before Bob had his surgery he finally got to meet his first daughter after 12 years, she is 14 years old and when she was two Bob gave her up for adoption. Not sure if I have ever mentioned this, but I am Bob's 3rd marriage (I say third times a charm!!). He was married to his first wife for 9 months and they had a baby girl named Katie. She is gorgeous! Bob was so excited and nervous, but extremely happy! We weren't sure what was going to happen to Bob and it was his one wish was to see her if something was going to happen. I helped him find her Grandmother and we called her and she arranged everything. Bob hasn't talked to her since that day, because her Bob doesn't want that happening until she is 18. So Bob has 4 more years and then he can have a relationship with her. But I am so happy that he got to see her and he now knows she is doing great!

We also got Lexis ears pierced, it was something I thought about for awhile, but I got the okay from her pediatrician and we got it done. I love them and we have had no problems (knock on wood!!). She is definately a PRINCESS and knows it.

So these are just a few things I forgot to blog about, weird because their kind of big, but with everything that happened in July I know why I forgot!

Woo HOO Its September!!!

I can't believe its September! Its one of my favorite months, its not too hot and not too cold, but its the month I got married. I know I say this every month, but I can't believe how much my kids have grown, they amaze me everyday. Here are some cute pictures of them that I love.
